Research suggests that participation in creative experiences can reduce anxiety, promote relaxation and improve the overall quality of life of people living with cancer (patients, families, caregivers).
Creating from Within:
A series of painting workshops designed to help people living with cancer, (patients, families and care providers) explore their creativity, escape, relax and engage with others who understand what they are going through. We use a combination of art instruction, guided meditation and music to enable participants to explore their creativity and express their emotions through art. Learn more.

A series of creative workshops focused on a particular area/technique delivered by a guest artist who specializes in that particular area/technique. Learn more.
On the Road Series:
We bring our Creating from Within Program workshops to not for profit organizations that provide support to people living with cancer. Learn more.
Art Bursary Program
The ART Bursary Program is offered in collaboration with art Works art School (including partial funding) and is available to graduates of the ART for Cancer Foundation “My Journey of Discovery”, 6 week Program, as a way of facilitating the further development of their artistic capabilities. Every term, two qualified applicants will be chosen to participate in an art course offered by art Works art School. Learn more.
